H2X was excited to present a Hydrogen powered Golf Cart at the 50th anniversary of the Sarawak Economic Development Corporation (SEDC). The Golf Cart was a part of the collaboration with H2X and SEDC Energy to produce Fuel Cell Electric Vehicles (FCEV) in the Sarawak region.
The Premier of Sarawak, Abang Johari Openg, praised both parties for their efforts in his opening speech. This milestone represents the first in a range of commercial FCEV products planned to support the region in establishing a hydrogen-driven economy. The Sarawak region aims to be a significant hydrogen producer supported by Bintulu’s green hydrogen gas production plant. Hydrogen Gas stations are already operational across Sarawak, delivering infrastructure for FCEV vehicles.
H2X CEO Brendan Norman was pleased to “congratulate the SEDC Energy team for 50 years of incredible success in being a principal driving force in the Hydrogen program in the region and Malaysia”.
